Gold Lustre is a special process in ceramics that adds an additional final step creating additional beauty and value. Orchids are a sweet touch for urns as they can symbolize love and special moments. I threw this piece on the wheel with a porcelain before glaze firing it with a Japanese Black glaze.I then painted the traditional plum blossom branch on it with a Gold Lustre and fired the piece for a third time. Wooden base are sold in under style in the checkout. The lid can be temporarily sealed with museum wax or permanently sealed with an epoxy glue.
