Hang toy inside cage where the bird has access to the toy, usually higher in the cage so your bird will not poop on the toy. Rotate toys every 2-3 weeks. Always have at least 3 different toys for your bird at all times. If bird is afraid of toy then hang a few feet away and move toy closer every day until it is attached to outside of cage. Then, move toy inside and try again.
