The 5-step Filtration ensures clear, healthy water with biological, mechanical and chemical filtration, water stabilization and oxygenation. Unlike most aquariums, a biOrb’­s filter is fitted at the bottom of the aquarium, because fish waste sinks. The ceramic media that surrounds the filter provides a large surface area for the growth of beneficial bacteria.
