What is Freeze Drying?

Freeze drying, also known as lyophilization or cryodesiccation.Freeze-drying is a process in which water is sublimated by the direct transition of water from solid (ice) to vapor, thus omitting the liquid state, and then desorbing water from the “dry” layer. Freeze-drying of insects is one of the best methods of water removal, with final products of the highest quality.

Storage Instruction

Feeding Instructions：

For chickens/ducks: give to chickens/ducks by a handful and should not comprise more than 50% of a regular diet.For wild birds: mealworms can be fed alone or mixed with traditional seed blends; Place feeder near shrubs and trees for cover.For reptiles/fish: feed 4-8 mealworms per meal, depending on size and species. Freeze-dried mealworms could rehydrate 10 min before feeding the reptile.
